A kb. 300 méter magasban fekvő Hlomos falu valamikor a 13.században épült ki a mai formájában, és egyike Korfu első településeinek, amit mi sem bizonyít jobban, mint a mai ortodox templom helyén talált Apolló szentély. Gyönyörű kilátás nyílik innen fentről a Korission-tóra valamint a keleti partra. Fantasztikus innen a naplemente. Egy kirándulást mindenképpen megér. Én október 19.-én jártam itt.

Chlomos village lies at the altitude of approx. 300 meters, it is one of the first settlements on Corfu, the best demonstration of this fact is the sanctuary of Apollo found at the place of today's orthodox church of the village. It's present appearance was aquired in the 13th century, so you can find here some really old buildings. From here there is a beautiful view of Korission Lake and the east coast here. The sunset is magical from here. The village is definitely worth a trip. I have been here on 19th October.
